Soraya Shaw
ABOUT
Soraya Shaw MSc is an Applied Organisational Neuroscientist, keynote speaker, strategic thinking partner and founder of BrainShaw®.
After a career leading major international brands and businesses, Soraya became increasingly convinced that organisational performance ultimately depended on something deeper than strategy, process or technology: the quality of the human thinking, judgement and behaviour behind them.
At a time when neuroscience was still rarely translated confidently into everyday organisational life, she recognised its commercial potential and made a deliberate decision to undertake an MSc in Applied Organisational Neuroscience. It was an early bet on a field she believed would become increasingly important as work grew more complex and technology more capable.
Her conviction was simple: organisations that understood and strengthened the brains behind their biggest decisions would gain an advantage others could not easily replicate.
Today, that thinking sits at the heart of BrainShaw® and The Science of Human Capability® - preparing leaders and organisations to strengthen Human Intelligence, harness Cognitive Diversity Intelligence and orchestrate Hybrid Intelligence as AI, automation, robotics, quantum-enabled computing and other intelligent technologies continue to evolve.
One of the early UK practitioners to qualify in Applied Organisational Neuroscience, Soraya has spent the past decade translating neuroscience into practical organisational performance.
She also co-hosts Brainy Podcasts, focused on shaping the minds of leaders, the creator of The Brainy Brains of Mindsville to help children make sense of their feelings and celebrate what makes their brains unique, and is building Authentic Beauty, Brains and Confidence for women owning their next chapter as part of her wider brain ecosystem.
